Our AC went out the night before, and our home warranty couldn’t have anyone out for 3-4 days. I called many companies who also didn’t have availability. This company had availability same day. Victor came within a few hours. He was professional, respectful, knowledgable and quick.

Summary: Misdiagnosed attic HVAC leak, high quotes, pushy sales tactics, price gouging and delays. Long story short: Our HVAC system began leaking in the attic, causing water damage to the ceiling. First technician Brody came out the same day but failed to find the issue. He blamed a roof leak from recent rain, pushed new ductwork and a membership program, charged $140 for the “diagnostic,” and left. He also loosened a roof vent pipe climbing around the attic. The sales emails started immediately afterward. A few days later, I went into the attic myself, confirmed it was definitely the HVAC (copper line joint actively leaking water — captured on video), and called back. They sent Benny/Benito. I showed him the photos and video. He didn’t go inspect the line himself. He brainstormed temporary fixes like taping or welding the break but agreed they wouldn’t last. He then quoted $1,500 to replace the copper line (using a pump replacement job since that was the only “charge code” related to the repair and offering to knock off $100 since our pump was fine). It was 3:30 PM on a Friday and he said the soonest they could return was Monday because teams don’t work weekends. He said it would need a team of techs and take up to 3 hours. He did come up with a temporary workaround rerouting the copper line out of the emergency drain line so we didn’t have to shut off the upstairs AC. I called Blue Dot Air Conditioning and Heating off Blanco Rd instead. Their tech showed up in less than 30 minutes, quoted the exact same repair at $350, and fixed it in minutes. Much more professional experience overall. Only positive with Beyer Boys is that they came out the same day each time I called.
