BEWARE of the Scam.......Called for after hours service, Thomas H was our technician. He went up in the attic to diagnose our system (4 yrs old) and comes back to show us a video of a hand held instrument and Thomas proceeded to tell us that each beep meant the coil had a leak. Thpmas also states that the system is extremely low in refrigerant and says he will go to his truck to come up with the estimate to fix our 4 year old air conditioner. He comes back with a more than $2700 estimate to replace the coil. This is definitely something we have to think about and tell him so. We pay the $140 fee and he goes on his way. The next day we get not one but two different companies to come diagnose our system only to find out they both say there is absolutely nothing wrong with our system. The companies both said it was an issue stemming for the thunderstorms that day but our sytem was good and has worked great since we turned it back on after the hoses defrosted. Needless to say we felt like the Beyer Boys were trying to take advantage of us and upcharge on a system that is still running great. I called to speak to the service manager Derrick Luna and explained the situation and told him all I wanted was my money back for a clearly erroneous diagnosis and he offered to send a second technician to which i declined given the fact that at thsi point the Beyer Boys cannot be trusted. So Beware.... apparently, its a scam as old as time.

Jacob keeps us cool. He is very courteous and gives us full detail on what is going on with our system. His knowledge and recommendations for our system keeps us in good condition.. Thank you Jacob and Beyer Boys for keeping our family cool for the summer.

I writing this as a new customer. I booked online yesterday for an appointment between 9am-1pm. Currently it is 430pm and I have yet to be serviced. I understand that some services may take longer than others and push their schedule back which I assume is why I received a message st 1230p indicating the technician was delayed. I was told at 230pm that I was "next on the list". Well, as a 1st time customer this "1st time experience" is unpleasant. I didn't expect to be at home all day waiting while constantly told "We are coming" but so far it's only been the 1 text from the company all other communication has been from me initiating it. So this is what I get if the company ever shows up... is late services and 140 diagnostic fee. It's so late in the day that of I canceled, I would encounter emergency fees with another company.

The two stars were for the ease of scheduling and the customer service experience when I called. I will update when or if I ever get serviced. Very Hot today.. to be without AC.

Update: I added a star.. the Technician was very pleasant to deal with. The issue was resolved in 30 minutes roughly. I got charged the diagnostic fee and a troubleshooting fee along with the part.

The dispatch system this company used is automated and reroute Technicians based on location. This is something that definitely need improvement.

Let us know he was on his way and was professional yet friendly. Trust Beyer Boys 100% and have been loyal to them for years.
